for dinner & a silent auction at Pipers Banquet
Facilities.
THE VOICE OF WRIGLEY FIELD TO SPEAK…
Wayne Messmer “The guy who sings the anthem” will speak
at an Aurora event. Wayne will share his message of
hope, at the 12th year Anniversary Dinner and Auction
for Restoring Inmates to America’s Society (RITAS).
Wayne Messmer is a founding partner of the Chicago
Wolves of the AHL, and formerly, for thirteen seasons,
he was the celebrated soloist with the Chicago
Blackhawks.
Wayne Messmer is the author of the book The Voice of
Victory, the autobiographical account of his personal
triumph over adversity and his comeback from a senseless
act of violence, after being shot in the throat in an
armed robbery attempt in 1994.
The event will be held at Pipers Banquet Facility on
Sunday evening, October 25th, 2009 at 5PM for cocktails
(cash bar) and appetizers. Dinner will be served at 6PM.
Wayne will speak at 7PM. A silent action will be held
during the evening. Seating is limited.
